Technology
Queries run in secure hardware.
Silo uses Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) to process your AI queries. TEEs are secure, isolated areas within a processor that guarantee your data cannot be accessed, even by Silo, the cloud provider, or anyone with physical access to the server.
A Trusted Execution Environment is a secure area of a main processor that protects code and data from outside interference. Think of it as a cryptographically sealed vault that processes your queries without exposing them to the outside world.
Your query is encrypted on your device, sent to a TEE running on secure hardware, processed in complete isolation, and the encrypted response is sent back to you. No logs, no traces, no data leakage.

Encrypted storage. Passkey protection. Zero access.
Your data belongs to you, period. Every conversation is stored fully encrypted and can only be decrypted by your device after you authenticate with your passkey using biometric verification. Not even Silo can read your chats.
We never log unencrypted conversations, build profiles about you, or train AI models on your data. Your passkey ensures that only you can unlock and read your conversations.
You can export your conversations anytime, delete your data permanently, and verify our privacy claims with cryptographic proofs. Your data remains under your complete control, protected by hardware-backed biometric authentication.
